September promises to be a great month for Atlanta shoppers.
On Thursday, the long-awaited Buckhead Atlanta (formerly known as Streets of Buckhead) officially opens.
Several retailers will be open that day, with quite a few others opening each week throughout the month (see list below).
Here’s an exclusive sneak peek of all the fashion fun to come in this behind-the-scenes look at the ad campaign for Buckhead Atlanta:
In case you don’t remember, the project — a mixed use development which stalled during the economic downturn — promises to be a stellar shopping destination in the city with a range of retail and dining options.
While luxury stores are the foundation of the new shopping destination, developers have made it clear that the area is designed to appeal to a range of shoppers.
Buckhead Atlanta will be the only metro area location for some of the stores, while some other stores that already have a presence in the city will designate the Buckhead Atlanta location as a flagship.

- Canali (on Buckhead Avenue)
- Brunello Cucinelli (on Bolling Way)
- diptyque (on Bolling Way)
- Etro (on Buckhead Avenue storefront)
