BUCKHEAD — Shake Shack fans, rejoice. The fabled New York City burger chain is opening its Buckhead Atlanta outpost this Tuesday. Take a first look at the restaurant with this Eater Inside gallery.
WESTSIDE — Hector Santiago, former chef/owner of Pura Vida, Super Pan Latino, and El Burro Pollo, is leaving his post as executive chef at Abattoir to work on his own upcoming project at Ponce City Market. Joe Schafer, who recently left King + Duke, will take over the Abattoir kitchen.
MORNINGSIDE — Chef Ron Eyester is temporarily closing his pizzeria, Timone's, to add a deli component. The restaurant will eventually relaunch as Timone's Deli and Local Pizza Joint.
CITYWIDE — To mark the relaunch of Eater, editors across the network have compiled ideas from local restaurant folks on how they want to change the world through food. In Atlanta, there's a lot of talk about bringing people together.
