The Shops Buckhead Atlanta Kicks Off “Buckhead Loves Locals” in Partnership with SCAD

The Shops Buckhead Atlanta has invited local Atlanta-based artists on property with the launch of their new “Buckhead Loves Locals” program. Current and former SCAD students will create and display art throughout The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, enriching the customer and community experience. The program launches today with Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).  

The Shops Buckhead Atlanta will welcome these local artists to create artwork for five art installations around the property. These works of art will be painted live so customers can enjoy the creative process of these talented artists. Art installation locations include two works in Center Plaza– one located behind Le Bilboquet the other between Billy Reid and Theory-- and three works on Buckhead Avenue – one across from Dolce, one next to Akris, and one across from Fado.

Shoppers and art lovers alike are invited to visit the property to view these local artists at work starting today. Weather pending, this activation will continue throughout the Holiday Season. As always, The Shops Buckhead Atlanta offers three (3) hours of complimentary self-parking with validation from stores and restaurants.
